Tea Party and Education

It is hard to believe that Tea Party members dislike Obama so much. People overseas must wonder what Sara Palin and others like her mean when they say they are going "take the country back".

Back to what? Have these people been taught anything real about American history?!!!

For instance do they know how many hours workers had to work a week, and the horrible conditions they had to work in ,before labor unions.

The tea party people are unhappy with the economy and a black president. Why else would they vote for a party that said 'No" to everything, every idea that was put on the table in Washington this last year and a half.

That's right its only been a year and a half sense the first Black President of the United States was elected.

Despite the outcome of the election in November, time cannot be turned back. Progress can maybe be delayed but never defeated.

Unemployment in the United States is over 9%. The corporations who outsourced all of the jobs causing the unemployment are giving money to the Republicans. Some people seem to think that whats good for corporations is good for the country,I wonder why? Corporations have always fought to reduced or eliminate wages.

Thomas Jefferson believed that the masses needed to be "educated" in order to vote intelligently.

Of course Jefferson while brilliant was a confused man. His monetary situation ,he was always in debt, made his actions conflict with his professed beliefs, his personal life was a mess. But he knew the role that ignorance could play in the possible destruction of this country. With regards to a public education bill,he wrote:
I think by far the most important bill in our whole code, is that for the diffusion of knowledge among the people. No other sure foundation can be devised for the preservation of freedom and happiness... The tax which will be paid for this purpose is not more than the thousandth part of what will be paid to kings, priests and nobles who will rise up among us if we leave the people in ignorance. --Thomas Jefferson to George Wythe, 1786. ME 5:396
If tea party candidates win it means that our educational system has really, really failed.

CNN IS AFRAID OF THE NEWS

I really stopped watching CNN,except like everyone else for disasters, really after they got rid of Aaron Brown.

At that time I noticed that they seemed to muzzle their reporters. It wasn't hard to see that their reporters were being prevented from doing in depth reporting. Despite what they say CNN does not report news. It tries to sit on the fence between political parties. That's why they will not do any in depth investigation about foreign campaign donations until after the election. Those poor tea party people are being used by foreign companies and they should know that before the election.

Hey CNN if you some leads to find out why foreign money is being used to influence the election check out foreign statements about the news. CNN news people should read a history of the role or lack of the press in Germany in the 1920'a and 30's.

Politics and World News: Rick Sanchez Fired From CNN? Come Back, Rick!

Politics and World News: Rick Sanchez Fired From CNN? Come Back, Rick!

Tell It Like It Isyt

ASK THE QUESTION

HEY CNN,FOX,ABC,NBC WHY HAVEN'T YOU ASKED THE TEA PARTY PARTICIPANTS
WHAT CONSTITUTION DO THEY WANT TO RETURN TO.  DO THEY WANT TO RETURN TO THE CONSTITUTION BEFORE: DO THEY WANT TO TAKE THE COUNTRY BACK TO BEFORE:

  • SLAVERY WAS ENDED
  • WOMEN GOT THE RIGHT TO VOTE
  • CHILD LABOR LAWS WERE PASSED

CNN,MSBC,NBC ASK THE QUESTION; ASK THE QUESTION

  • DO YOU SUPPORT THE MINIMUM WAGE
  • WHY IS IT WRONG FOR  A SOCIETY TO PAY FOR ITS CITIZENS TO BE HEALTHY
  • AND OKAY FOR HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES TO MAKE MILLIONS

Okay lets talk about jobs

I dont believe that there is a shortage of trained workers in the United States. I 'am talking about  Information Technology. Yes,Bill Gates, people who state that there are not enough trained information technology workers, in the United States as the reason for outsourcing jobs, is just a cover to hire cheap and cheaper labor. Ask all the IT employees at various companies around the country who have been forced to train their replacements.

Has anyone asked the question "How is it that people outside of the United States understand and are trained in computer systems that were developed inside of the United States?"

I'd like to start this discussion by asking people to comment on this short blog with "I had to train my replacement " stories. It doesn't have to be just in the field of Information Technology.

Let's Get Started

First, a note on Rick Sanchez and CNN. I really don't think that Rick should have been fired. What he is guilty of is a lack of understanding of what being  a minority in this country and possibly the world means. Sanchez apparently equates minority status with jobs positions and job positions  in a certain industry at that. He's ignorant, CNN should not have fired him for his comments. Let him apologize, explain, but dont shut him up.

As far as CNN goes, I am really disapponted with that cable network. Every snice they let go of Aaron Brown, no even before then ,CNN has gone down the drain as far as news reporting is concerned. I noticed back then that the correspondents national and international seemed to be restricted as to what they could report. The world according to CNN is really different than the world accodrding to BBC News. We Americans are so delicate that we have to be shielded from so much that happens in the real real world.

And,give me a break, I can't stand watching a show that supposedly allows both sides to speak. What happened to the truth ,the facts. People that  get on these shows are allowed to state opinion as fact regardless of the facts, the truth.

I like Rick Sanchez and I hope he will end on MSNBC again, I really don't want to  watch him on FOX news, those people don't even  know the word" fact". CNN made a mistake, firing Rick Sanchez people will follow Rick, he's better than what's that guy,Spizer?
